Pisang Peak Climbing ( 6092 mtrs )


Pisang Peak climbing is the most popular among the trekking peak climbings of Nepal in Annapurna region. Trekkers with little experience in climbing can combine the popular classic Annapurna circuit trek with Pisang Peak climbing to have the taste of climbing on Himalayas in Nepal. The peak rises above from Pisang village and yak pastures in a uniform slope of ice and snow to the final summit pyramid. Pisang peak is considered one of the easy climbing peaks among the trekking peaks in Nepal. To reach the base camp from Pisang village, the path ascends through sparse wood and pasture to a Kharka at (4,380m) which is considered the best place for setting up the base camp. High Camp is set up at (5,400m) climbing to a shoulder on the South-West Ridge.

From Pisang village and the surrounding yak pastures you can witness the beautiful Pisang peak rise up through its uniformed slopes of snow and ice until you witness its classical pyramid summit. From Pisang village the trail ascends through amazing sparse woodlands and pasture until Kharka is reached (4,380m), this is considered the best place to set up base camp. The high camp will be set up at an altitude of 5,400mtrs this is eloquently situated towards the shoulder of the South-West Ridge.

Pisang Peak Climbing Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu. (1345 meters.)
A Himalaya Caravan Adventure representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to our chain hotel.
Day 2: Trip arrangements, meeting with crew members and sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley. 
You will meet your trekking guide, discuss the trekking program and coordinate any last-minute arrangements. After/before staff meeting, our professional tour guide will take you to visit some historical, religious and cultural sites of Kathmandu including Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, Swyambhunath and Patan Durbar Square.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Beshisahar by private vehicle (5hour driving) trek to Bhulbhule 3hrs (820mtr) Overnight at lodge
Day 4: Trek to Ghermu 6hrs (1130mtr) Overnight at lodge
Day 5: Trek to Tal 6hrs (1600mtr) Overnight at lodge
Day 6: Trek to Timang 6hrs (2350mtr) Overnight at lodge
Day 7: Trek to Chame 4hrs (2670mtr) Overnight at lodge
Day 8: Trek to Pisang 5hrs (3100m) overnight at lodge
Day 09: Trek to Pisang base camp 4hrs (4380mtr)
Day 10: Acclimatization at Base camp (4380mtr)
Day 11: Climb High camp 4hrs (5400mtr)
Day 12: Summit up to Pisang peak 7-9hrs (6092mtr) and back to base camp
Day 13: Trek to Pisang 4hrs (3100m)
Day 14: Trek to Manang 5hrs (3500mtr) Overnight at lodge
Day 15: Manang acclimatizing day. During this day you can hike up to Ice Lake or Gangapurna Lake,  from where you will see panoramic Himalayan views of the Mt. Manaslu 8163m, Mt. Annapurna II 7937m, Annapurna III 7555m, Annapurna IV 7525m, Gangapurna 7455m, Tilicho peak 7134m,Pisang peak 6091m etc , back to Manang, even you can watch some movies in small thearer, overnight at lodge
Day 16:  Trek to Yak kharka 4hrs (4090m) overnight at lodge
Day 17: Trek to Throng Phedi 4/5hrs (4420mtr) or High camp (4850mtr)depands on Your condition overninght at lodge
Day 18: Early morning start to trek and cross Throng-La (5416mtr) then trek down to Muktinath 7/8hrs (3802m) overnight at lodge
Day 19: Trek to Kagbeni 3hrs (2800mtr)
Day 20:  Trek to jomsom 3hrs (2670m)
Day21: Early morning fly (25min) back to Pokhara. Free day and Overnight at pokhara Hotel
Day 22: Early morning Fly back to Kathmandu and freeday, overnight at hotel
Day 23: Departure
A member of the Himalaya Caravan Adventure Team will transfer you back to the airport for your flight home.
